BARE started with a simple frustration: “nude” shapewear that was only nude on one kind of skin, in one kind of size, at an imported price.

We design in Johannesburg, fit-test on nine women across nine sizes, and make every style in nine shades — from Oat to Onyx — so the piece disappears under whatever you wear over it.
